1982 marked the year when the Canada Constitution Act was passed, Michael Jackson’s Thriller was released, and Pacific Homes was born!
Already successful with Pacific Builders’ Supplies and Pacific Truss, the McKinnon Family saw an opportunity in factory built homes. Pacific then started manufacturing custom pre-fabricated homes and cottages to the domestic and international markets. Over the past 30 years, starting out with simple homes and expanding into high end custom homes, Pacific Homes has manufactured homes from 500 sq ft to 14,000 sq ft along with everything in-between.
Pacific Homes is continuously growing and searching for new ways to improve by offering green homes, passive homes and mold, moisture and fire protection, among others. This market leading drive led to our innovative Pacific SmartWallTM. Engineered and developed in the early to mid 1990’s, the Pacific SmartWallTM still outperforms conventional walls today!
The first Pacific Home was manufactured and delivered to our happy customers in Terrace, BC. Pacific 
Homes quickly expanded worldwide, supplying homes to Alaska, California, Korea, Israel and Mongolia; just to name a few, the list goes on.
