Located in Northern California, this incredible custom California Modern Contemporary prefabricated home was designed specifically to take in the gorgeous views of the Napa Valley. The design of this project was inspired by our Westcoast Package and was modified to fit the beautiful California landscape. Our build specialist Ray Greene worked with our clients through the design process, and helped develop fire defense strategies for the property. The first strategy was to create a significant distance and incombustible material between the home and the natural surroundings. Secondly, there was much consideration to the choice of building materials that were provided in the building package to add front line defense in the prevention of wildfire damage to the home. The roofing material included a noncombustible standing seam metal roofing with a fiber cement exterior siding, triple pane glazed windows that were insulated and tempered providing an extra layer of defense from the heat of a fire. The soffits were also chosen specifically for this project, they were also made of a noncombustible material with Vulcan vents which will close off when they reach a certain temperature to prevent fire embers from being drawn into the attic cavity.
The impressive 4535 square foot home has an ultra-modern, custom designed look and features an incredible 632 square foot of outdoor deck space that’s designed to enjoy the warm California climate and create a flow between indoor and outdoor living. The main floor greets you with a large open foyer which then enters into the main living space. This includes a bright and open gourmet kitchen, dining room and great room that encourages conversation but allows for plenty of space. In addition the main floor offers an enormous master bedroom complete with an ensuite bathroom and walk-in-closet, a good size home office, mudroom and laundry room. Upstairs provides a large open loft looking down into the great room, a media room, linen closet and two additional bedrooms and bathrooms. This home gives you the ultimate feeling of luxury meets simplicity.
