Westcoast Modern Prefab Cottage
This Energy Efficient Westcoast Prefab Cottage is modest in its size, and highly crafted. This home blends into the surrounding natural mountainside on a 10-acre lot, with jaw-dropping views of the Juan de Fuca Strait, Olympic Mountains, and the Sooke Basin. Designed by SOS Design, this new home sits on a steep and ecological hillside above Matheson Lake in Metchosin, BC. In order to minimize site impact, the 2100 sf prefabricated home is engineered to float on a steel frame that is supported by three columns.
